BTW, if your dealer continues playing dumb, just refer them to the internal newsletter sent from MB USA Product Management on 13 December 2013. It starts off by saying:

Due to an error in production, a number of 2014 ML63 vehicles with the P30 Performance Package may have been built with the standard engine cover instead of the Carbon Fiber Engine Cover.
...

And don't worry, they will replace the engine cover with a carbon fiber one without any questions. You just need to wait a little bit for the correct cover to be built and shipped to your country.

The S-class babe is not going to be built until end of June. It comes with designo Mocha Black and carbon fiber exterior. A carbon fiber engine cover also comes in standard, unless it will be replaced with a cheap plastic version due to a production error. :-)

Never trust dealers and never let them take your car to their closed doors. Who knows what they put and do to your car. I also had bad experience with my wheels etc. My next car will be a Tesla. Eliminate the middlemen whose interest in maximizing profit; the more car breaks, the more money they make.
