2014 ML350 Price thread
"Invoice" is such a bloated, fictitious number typically released as a resource for internet shoppers so dealers really don't get destroyed on each car they sell.
There is roughly 12-12.5% mark up in the ML's depending on the options + $750 "Hold back". Hold back is usually the absolute bare minimum profit the dealer has in a vehicle and 99% of the time (unless they're desperate) they will not touch this money as it includes commission to the sales man.

I recommend that you do your numbers, contact multiple dealers within your 100mile radius to get the best quote. If you want a good price, be patient and work them dealers a bit.
I got 15% less than the MRSP. The dealer started giving me 5%, but I was able to get another 10% (no fleet discount)

I went with an offer from another dealer. He checked it out, saw that I was determined to purchase it at the other out-of-state dealer. So, I guess, he took a beating and sold me at a better price.
I guess, I was at the right place at the right time. The dealer must have been in a really good mood to get the sale done.

The dealer I purchased from is MB of Tysons, Virginia.
My recommendation : Check out dealers within 100mile radius and be patient. Work with the dealer when the sales are low (during winter months or on 31st December).
In my case, March sales were down due to major snow problems in my area. I think, the dealer wanted to get a sale done. I guess, I was at the right place at the right time.
Good Luck with your purchase.
I have compared about 20 dealers state wide and out of state to reach this price. total time used was 6 days

MSRP: 57705,
lowest E-price, first round of Emails: 47850 from MB of fremont in N. Cal.
took the offer and went to my local dealer at Long beach (S. Cal.)
final price at MB of Long Beach, 47500.
I felt the price could go down more, but I'm lazy to keep haggle and wanted the car pretty bad before summer hits.
Confirmed with dealer that more savings are coming starting end of August, but the inventory will be lower. not sure if they were telling the truth about inventory, but at least they did say more incentives in the second half of the year.
. They certainly have a lot of wiggle room on pricing on 2014 models right now. My very first quote locally was at 11% off MSRP without any haggling so far, so they must be trying real hard to get rid of stock.
MSRP: $63,490
My price: $55,490
Money Factor: .00092
Residual value: $34,284
$399 doc $795 acc fee built into the lease but trying to get them to remove all or part of it.
36 month/12K year
$710/month plus tax
The numbers seem high to me, I calculate $676.12 month plus tax.
Advise?
PenFed is offering 2.24% to buy the car and you don't worry about the miles.
I don't see the value of leasing anymore, unless you can tie it to your business.
When I was looking at MLs in May, the sweet spot of their leasing program was 30 months not 36 - you may want to ask for a quote at. 30 months just to compare.

Lighted MB Star (kinda cool although overpriced)
Love the car. Great ride. Technology could definitely use some improvement from the likes of Apple to make it more intuitive. The Nav/Audio interface is definitely the weakest link on this vehicle, which is why I would have preferred to wait until the Winter programs come out to get a 2015 (assuming they improved it at all).
Jose Gomez at Westmont Mercedes was awesome to work with.
When the technology needs improving, Mercedes will improve it.
Until then, just be quiet and pay the $310 for the Mood Lighting and be happy it's not $510.
Nicely equipped, hope it treats you well.

It does not have panoramic sunroof which we don't care for anyway.
I am very happy with the options this car comes with especially the Blind spot monitoring & parking sensor since it is a lot different to maneuver compared to our 3-series. This is my first SUV, first brand new car and first MB!
MSRP $62,965
agreed price $55,000 (probably having fleet discount to get this price).
MB USA has 2.99% for 72 months but we got better rate 1.99% from our credit union.
MLicious, I also use the trick of dragging my feet trying to find a CPO with options and we both want. After a few days, my wife realized that the only way to get all the options we want is to order a brand new OR find the one with those options already on the dealer's lot - then she signed off on the purchase.
