Apple "CarPlay" Announced
Aloha everyone,
I didn't see this posted yet. Apple announced that iOS in the Car is now being called "CarPlay" and that Mercedes is among the first car manufacturers implementing this technology. Currently it only supports lightning-enables iOS devices (iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, and iPhone 5S), through a wired connection, although WiFi is most likely to be introduced later. I would like to know if my new 2014 ML350 (whenever it gets here) will support it, or if that support begins with the MY2015 variant. Read all about it from MacRumors.com and Apple.com.
