When driving on the Interstate in just the plain GPS mode, the right hand side of the map is blocked with three rectangles showing the next three exits and what is on those exits, if anything.
Is there any way to get rid of those exit rectangles? They are blocking out almost half the the map, and are totally unnecessary and unwanted.
How to block them out? I'd like to be able to see the complete map.

Never mind. Found it in the no-longer-available as printed, but downloadable, COMAND Manual. There is a way to shut it off.
One almost needs a college level course to be able to operate everything in this vehicle.
