Special Order Question - Active Curve and Airmatic

Question for the deeply knowledgeable:

When special ordering Active Curve on a ML550, dos that include Airmatic, or does it require that Airmatic is added.

The Special Order sheet is not clear. It says with Heated / Ventilated seats that it 'requires leather upholstery'.

But Active Curve says it 'Adds 489 AIRMATIC Air Suspension'.

Does that mean it's included, or that it will be added separately (and increase the price)?

Active Curve includes Airmatic for $2910.

Truecar.com has a good configurator that will let you see all of the available options & pricing.

This is interesting because I had to pay an extra $1610 for the Airmatic in addition to the $2910 for the Active Curve. I see where the website says included. I attached an excerpt from my build sheet and my window sticker listed the charges for each separately too.

I was told by my salesman when ordering that the two are separate items.

Thanks for the info!

My sales guy said they were separate too, but some online configurators showed them as grouped with a single charge for Active Curve.

Looks like they are indeed separate, and it makes sense if you look at the $5K+ price tag for the Dynamic Handling package in older versions ('12 I believe?).
