Short term ( 6 mos) storage prep
My ML 350 (2013) has only 6000 mile so far and we store it in climate control garage at home for the summer as we travel to our N.C. camp using my pickup.
Other than filling the gas tank is there any other thing I should do for storage for April thru Oct.?
Should I put Stay-Bil in the gas?
thanks

I have the same storage challenge for my Corvette, I put Stabil in a full gas tank and hook up a Battery Tender to take care of the battery. Starts right up with no issues in the fall when I return. Make sure that the battery tender is a battery maintainer and not a simple charger, and run the car a bit once the Stabil is in the gas tank to make sure that you have fuel with Stabil in it throughout the fuel system.

1) I recommend Stabil Marine Formula (Blue Bottle) dose less-than-full-tank with full tank dosage per bottle - then top off tank
2) Remove Keyless Go button (if your MB has keyless go) which deactivates Kyeless Go receiver drain
3) I would not mess with trickle charger or battery disconnect - if you have starting problem when you return - simply call Roadside Assist who will properly jump car and reset all systems - that's free !
