Reversing camera activation with command online
Hi, I have installed reversing camera to my 2012 ML350 using genuine mb camera and retrofit wiring loom. The setup is connected to the canbus, power and green video connector on the back of the command online unit. There are two video connection in the single green plug on the back of the command unit and it was necessary to disassemble both the media interface and camera connectors to combine them for the retro fit. Power is confirmed at the camera end when the ignition is on. However, I am unable to enable the camera using the command engineering mode. I have found the appropriate engineering menu page and 4 reversing camera options, none of which bring the camera to life. It seems that something else needs to happen to make this work, perhaps enabling a canbus or Most signal from the gearbox selector? Help from anyone with knowledge in this area would be greatly appreciated....
