Smart Key Programming
My two previous MLs allowed either the driver door to be unlocked (one push on remote button) or all doors to be unlocked (two pushes on the remote button). My 2014 unlocks all doors with a single push of the button.
Can the key/locking mechanism be programmed to unlock only the driver's door?

Yes it can. Keep the key 12 inches away from the drivers side outdoor handle. Press both the lock and unlock simultaneously for 10 seconds. Done. To reverse it do the same.

Off topic from this, however...
Do the smart keys hold any 'settings' as do priority keys in some other brands. I realise you need the memory pack to remember seat and mirror settings etc, but do the keys remember climate control/radio/command settings etc?
