2015 ML 350 Shipping Delay?
I ordered an 2015 ML350 that was manufactured 7/24 but has not been shipped out of the factory yet. Does anyone know of a reason that shipments are delayed?
My understanding from other posts on this site was that cars usually leave the plant 4-6 days after completion.

It is my understanding that the Vance plant has an annual summer "shut down". I think it is sometime in July or August as they ready the plant for the new models. It lasts a week or two but I am not sure of the actual duration of the "shut down" and it might vary from year to year. That could be the reason for your delay but you should check to see when this year's plant closing actually took place.

When does the next build start and how long does it take to build?
I believe the transit time to Australia is a month?
Anyone know if there are any changes in the last build for the year?
I thought the last build for the year cars are plated as next year models ie MY15 but according to OP, 24/7 built (Aussie right way of date :

Very Frustrated and Disappointed --
Was told that the 2015ML gas (produced the end of July) I have on ordered had left the factory on the 7th or 8th to be here this week. Now I am told the car still hasn't left.
What could be the reason for holding a completed car for almost 3 weeks? Could it be body or paint damage they are trying to repair? Anyone have an insight as to what might be happening?
