ML 2012 with Bonded leather seat Craking
ML 2012 with the Bonded leather seat Craking on the driver seat. I took it to the dealership for repair and I was told not a warranty issue. How could that bE ? The car has 30K Miles. Does anybody has the same issue? what should I do call MB and complain? any idea? thanks for your help

It's a normal wear and tear issue. Have you been treating the seat with any leather conditioners like Lexol or the like? If not, I would start to keep it from getting worse.

I would try another dealer. Our past Q7 had leather crack issues on both front seats and the dealer replaced them around 36k miles...no questions. Our current 2012 ml350 BT had a similar issue, though no where near as bad as our audi, with the seam on bottom of drivers seat cracking. Dealer replaced without a question. This was at approx 40k miles.

I just had the MB-Tex seat bottom replaced on my C250 at 29K miles under warranty for a crack. Seat cracks at these mileages are not wear and tear... I'd consider another dealer, or escalating up the chain at your particular dealer/to MB.

I just had the MB-Tex seat bottom replaced on my mL at 23K miles under warranty for peeling. They immediately said no problem and gave me a loaner car. I would raise a real stink....
