2 items re BlueTEC
1 Remember that BlueTEC ML is $1,000 cheaper than gas to buy.
2 I found out when I had my DETROIT diesel a product that kept injectors
clean & general performance up was" FPPF" diesel treatment. It is
available @ most truck stops for under $10. It treats 250 gallons. Used it on every 2nd fill up for over 5 yrs. Never a problem.
I am not buying @ BlueTEC to save $. A good diesel will last longer
than we will.
Also, be very careful what you add to the fuel. You could screw up the DPF and/or the NOx treatment system in the exhaust. The BT's are not your old diesels.

Not that the money made that big of a different but my 350BT uses about half the fuel costs of the 570LX I drove before. Not to mention the ML being a lot more fun to drive.
