New Owner and pretty dang happy...

Well...I've been on the board for a long time with my cars but in other forums... (SL500, C32, E55)... and now I'm a member of the W166 team with a '12 ML350 that I just got for my wife last week (we got married 3 weeks ago).

And don't think like that...she's lived with me for 5 years so she deserves everything she gets. Especially since she didn't complain for a second about her '04 Camry.

It's got P1 and the towing package (he he...which is why I so wanted her to get this instead of the other vehicles she was eying) and after a few months of hunting I was able to find one in white with a black interior instead of the almond. It doesn't have the full pano which is pretty much the only option I would have wanted that it doesn't have.

I did put 22" reps on it and had the front windows matched to the rears.

The more I drive this thing the more I love it. I haven't pulled my boat with it yet but I'm anxious to see how it does.

The night we bought it:

Her nervously pulling it into the garage:

The next night when I put the new wheels on it:

And two days later with the tint:

Just like mine (which has been named "Diamond Jim" thanks to that great Diamond White paint!!). I can't have anything in Texas heat that is black. I'm surprised you opted for black interior being in Atlanta, although I admit it is easier to maintain and keep clean. I love the wheels you put on and it looks better without those stupid and useless step rails (unless you have kids or super small feet).

Although I don't tow, I wish mine had the hitch package for the few times I need to trailer a bunch of limbs and brush to the dump. The hitch also is said to bolster the rear end and help protect in a collision. I do have the lighting package because I drive mostly dark, country roads where it is a must. If I lived in the city this would be useless but a real life safer (lives of deer!) in the country. Good choice and good luck with it!
