Lighting Question on 2012 ML550
This question probably applies to any 2012 or newer ML, but I'm curious if there is a way to have both the LED lamps and headlights on at the same time during daylight hours?
To elaborate, my truck has HIDs, and if I leave the lamp setting on "Auto" the LED lamps will be on during the day and then both the LED lamps AND HIDs will be on at night. Is there any way at all to have both the LEDs and HIDs on during the day?
As a follow up question, is there any way to have the LEDs on with any other lights (ex. the amber turn signal lights) during the day?
Appreciate any input.

Why do you want to have your HIDs turned on during daytime? I only see those on MBs pre LEDs here in Canada and you will etch the plastic housing of your headlamps overtime as that happened to my 09 c300 as the DRLs was the HIDs so when I got them replaced because of that reason I made sure to dissable the DRLs on my car. What you want can be done easily but you need access to a STAR diagnostic tool. Leave it alone and you will save your headlamps and money as overtime your HIDs will burn out faster.

Thanks, but this is not something I'm looking to run all the time, and I would just like the option to have both on when I choose to. This is not a modification I will likely pursue - I was interested in whether or not this was an option already selectable in the car that I was just missing.
If anything, I would be more inclined to adjust the computer with the diagnostic tool so that both the orange eyebrows and lower white LEDs could run at the same time.
