Rear Brake Pads 2012 Gas
I would like to replace my rear brake pads but I am having difficulty finding the correct pad. I want to use ceramic pads but Akebono doesn't make the rear. Any one have a recommendation and the exact part/model number?
Went to RockAuto and you need your body style number, what's that and where do I get it? I have the VIN obviously. Ordered a set of Akebono's from another site and they said it would fit and it was for a 2011 not my 2012, so returned those. Dealer wants over $200 for the set. I will go that route if I have to but I know you guys are doing something other than dealer pads. where are you getting them?

I had the same issue when I did my brakes. My indie put Akebonos on the front and semi metallic Textar on the rear. Of course there is no dust at all on the front wheels and just a little each week on the rear wheels. Hopefully Akebono starts making the rear pads soon. They are the only brand of ceramic pads I'd go with.
