Advice needed buying 2011 ml bluetec

Hi everyone,

I have an opportunity to buy a ML350 bluetec 2011 with ....... 205 000km. The motor/turbo is brand new and has a 2 years warranty. The body is in really good condition. The milleage was mostly made on the highway.

I want to keep it for 5 years without much trouble. What do you think about it?

Thanks!

205k km is a lot, city or hwy.. If the engine is new you shouldn't be so worried with it breaking down. Since the car runs good it should be fine for a while, but I'm not so sure about 5 years. It's practically 5 years old already.. If you are able to cope with higher than average maintenance costs then I'd say go for it. But since it's used ALWAYS have a trusted mechanic check it out before you buy it, and make sure an OBD scanner is used too in order to find any internal problems. The scanner costs around 40-60 bucks and will come in handy in a used car buying process. Keep us posted

Turbos seem to give people probs for any brand. The engine itself should be fine. The real repairs are other things even small things. The worry about the engine and trans is from the 80's when nothing else could really go wrong.

You should go to the appropriate forum because they will have the exact car with history. This is the 2012+ forum. Unless in some parts of the world the w166 started as 2011?
