I have a 2015 ML350 BT. I noticed tonight that the ring around by headlight switch is not illuminated. The graphic on the switch is but not the ring showing all the positions like AUTO parking or head lights. I cant recall if was illuminated before or not? Can someone please advise?

No, it is not illuminated.

No, its not, which is kinda dumb since you never have any trouble finding the knob, but if you adjust the position at night, you don't know which position you want to put it in before you twist it. ...This lighting scheme is backwards... but in the German tradition probably way overthought and they have 12 reasons why their way was right.
