Remove bumper step?
Anyone have any details on how to remove the chrome bumper step on the rear of the ML or GLE models?
I need to remove it so I can paint it. Please let me know. Thanks!

It looks like you need to remove the rear bumper and that the step clips in place.
I have included the instructions on how to remove and install the rear bumper in the .PDF file below. I could not find anything that shows how to remove the step itself.
The part number for the step is: 1668852174
If you do a google image search for that part number you will see many pictures that show how the clips are made.
