I prefer Michelin. Very long life but a little pricey when compared to my OEM equipped (apparently good wearing) Dunlops. If I get 45 - 50 K out of the Dunlops as I do with the Michelins, I'd buy them again. If its reasonably close, the cost savings might keep me with them too. If its a not close, the installation/balance/possible preventative alignment replacement fees would put me back into Michelin.

The Michlin tires are over 200 pounds less weigh capacity than the OEM Perilli tires. That is against the law in Canada to use less rated tires than OEM.
I had Continentals on a GLK and a Passant, I was not impressed with the tread life. I am going to try these Kumo,s not because of the 1/2 price of the others, but the high reviews they get so far. They have only been out since March 2016. They could be a diamond in the rough, or a bad decision.I have never had a car that needed tires at 18.000 miles

There are good Conti's & there are not so good Conti"s Several times I have taken off the oem Conti's & replaced them with another "good" Conti. Check ratings @ Tirerack.com.

Tire Rack recommended Michlin LTX Premium 275 45 20 after they told me my choice was not good for my ML 350 Blueteck. The kumos were only 7/32 of tread and would wear very fast. Also this LTX was rated at 2300 pounds, not 2000 like the other Michlins.SO I went with their advice
