Smell on start up

I have a 15 ml350. When I start the car there is a foul smell coming from the ac vents. I've had the dust & cabin filters changed and even used a MOC evaporated cleaner spray. It masks the smell but a couple days later the smell is back. Really bad on a hot day.
Any suggestions?

A mold issue in the fan/evaporator under dash components caused by excess moisture remaining there when the car is shut down in a warm clammy environment. The dealer has a service that they can do to kill the bacteria there.

That is one of the reason why I always shut off the AC a few minute before I get to my destination in order to minimize condensation in the AC system.

I sold my ML350 MY13 for the exact same reason. It was a recurring problem and the dealer refused to admit there was a problem, instead trying to charge me to replace all kinds of filters.
Not my idea of a luxury brand when you get in a car that smell rotten eggs. I switched to Lexus 1 year ago. I missed the ML350 for its performance and comfort, too bad they could not fix this issue for me.
