2012 W166 ML350
I am on the same boat. Just bought a 2012 W166 ML350 with 60K miles on it. The service manual says for 60K service, spark plugs need to be changed. I searched a lot of sites and all I can found is the procedure for W164 which has a lot of difference with W166.

I think that there must be someone who has done this and documented. I just need to be patient and search again in couple weeks.

By the way, when changing Spark Plugs, do wires need to be changed?

Thanks for all helps and comments.

Found this discussion which could be helpful. But I would still hope a little more detail.

I have searched high and low and did not find anything besides the procedures i posted on the other thread.
Ended up going to an independent shop and he said he would put all six plugs in for $250 so I let him do it. 2 days later I got a CEL and it was a intake leak. Took it back to the indie and he said had nothing to do with his work yet the three seals under the resonance manifold needed to be replaced because thats were the leak was. I told him that he had to take off the manifold cover to replace the plugs and he said he doesn't do it that way. They remove some CPU and get to the plugs that way. Either he removed the cover and didn't put in new seals or it's so tight that he must have moved the cover causing the leak. He was insistent that he had nothing to do with the intake leak. Ended up costing me another $400 to replace the 3 seals under the intake cover. I will not be going back there thats for sure. IN any case I do not think it is a DIY job. There are a lot of connections that need to be undone and redone and the intake seals need to be replaced as well.Best to find someone that can do it and is honest.
