Need help with arm rest latch

On a 2014 ML350, I need to repair one of the latches that keeps the center arm rest in its closed position. The latch on the right side of the arm rest has recessed inside the hole that it pops out of. I assume that a spring has broken or come off or something else is going on inside the cavity that holds this latch. Can anyone tell me how it get access to this latch (its about 1/4" in width and there 2 of them that hold the left and right arm rest in the closed position.) I need a diagram and instructions as to what take take apart and how to take it apart. Thanks

Same thing happened to me. I took it to the dealer last week and they replaced under warranty. If you still have warranty call up your dealer and have them do it. Good luck.
