Power Liftgate
Hi,
My power liftgate motor stopped functioning... It starts and over torques (with a beep) or barely moves forward or backward. Im pretty sure it is it, since more than once Ive been forcing it in different directions. Since my car is out of warranty is it possible to replace it by my self? Found a part for $270? Or is it anything needing reprogramming etc. Any ideas, recommendations?

Did you try to reset the gate? If not, I would try to reset it first. Just lift it up, and hold down the red "open/close" button on the power gate for 3-4 sec, you will hear two chimes. That will reset the gate.

I just wanted let you know this trick may fix the tailgate issue... which I often need to do by myself when my tailgate doesn't open... I just manually open it, and reset, then it works... Good luck!
