Blind spot assist

Blind spot assist
The blind spot assist function keeps going in and out [from enabled to inoperable] and I now cannot rely on it consistently. MB service replaced driver side mirror lens and wire harness in door and it is still inoperable. Any suggestions???

I had the same problem and it wasn't fixed until they replaced a device in the steering wheel. I believe it was called a steering unit. I can look back on my old bills if MB doesn't know what I'm talking about.

The ELW has covered it thus far, however I must take it back in. I will suggest the steering unit to the tech.

2012 Mercedes ML 350
I ended up towing mine to dealer and they found my problem was faulty wire harness and one of the sensor was bad. Cause all kinds of lights to pop up and made shortage in all system. 2200$ repair. Mine was coming on and off periodically and then last few months was on solid all the time. Good luck.
