USA W166 in the UK DAB no reception

USA W166 in the UK DAB no reception
I just imported a W166 ML350 from Florida to the UK,
It originally had a Sirius Satellite radio unit, of course that was ot use in here England.
So I removed it and installed the W166 DAB tuner in its place. There was no reception when I plugged in the original antenna, so I switched to a windscreen mount one and the reception is sporadic.
Anyone know if there is a way to fix this? Is there any hardware the UK vehicles have that the US ones dont (like different antenna/amplifier etc)
I don't mind changing some parts out but hopefully not the roof antenna as its a PITA to reach
