I'd recommend you wait and get the ML with factory lighting package. There is no comparison between the factory lighting package and the aftermarket HID kit. I understand AZN is a good economical option if you already bought the truck without factory lighting package.

AZN folks are good. I bought from them once and I was satisfied with the purchase.

I agree, if you haven't bought the car yet, the lighting package is the way to go. The Halogen projectors are not design for HID bulbs and will not cast the beam the same way as the HID projectors.

I wont have the choice, the ML is my mom's and i will likely be taking it after my current lease is up on my C. And i know they arent meant for the halogen housings, i dont really care..i installed an HID kit on my last GTI that has halogen reflector housings and the difference was night and day, so much brighter. I go to Vermont a lot and the streets are not lit, so I will be changing the lights purely so I can see more. Anything is better than the crap halogens.
