Is Door Ajar Warning feature missing on 2015 ML350?

Is Door Ajar Warning feature missing on 2015 ML350?
I have one 2015 ML350. I think when I took it, it had door ajar warning. If I started the car and any of the doors was open, on the command center it would indicate me which of the four doors was open. Recently I noticed it is not working.
I took to dealer for regular servicing and told them about it as it is still under warranty, they are saying this feature is not present in this model. I am highly surprised and doubtful. This is a pretty basic feature which is common now a days in almost all economy cars. I used GLE350 as loaner and it has this warning feature. Was it missing in 2015 ML350 and added on GLE350 ? It is an important safety feature for me as I have a young kid.

I looked in the docs I have for a 2013 ML350 4Matic & Bluetec, both list attention assist as standard.
I would think that Attention Assist would include a silly door-ajar light.....
