Speedometer Change
I came to Mexico about 6 months ago for my work and I’ve purchased Used Mercedes ML400 4matic 2015 year model in Mexico for my use.
Now I finished my work and plan to go back home with my MB.
I have some questions.
Please let me know how I can solve my doubt.
1. I am second owner and the first owner purchased it at January 2015 in Mexico, and it’s Mileage is 25000miles( 40000Km ), so it has steel Fabric Warranty? Or not?( Simply I want to know that MBUSA will apply the regulation of warranty for abroad buying )
If not, can I purchase extended warranty of 3 years? How much?
2. It’s speedometer take temperature units in Celsius.
Can they configure it to Fahrenheit at MB dealer?
I can configure the speed units from KMH to MPH, but can’t find menu for temperature.
3. I need speed cluster in Miles, for that if I change it to used speedometer cluster of market( E-bay, etc. ), what will happen? Still Can I buy Extended Warranty?

You wont get the warranty transfered from one country to another. If there are warranty issues you need to bring the truck to Mexico to be serviced. The best is go third party on the extended warranty. Kilometers to miles in speedometer requires a new VIRGIN dash cluster and some reprogramming that a dealer must do. If I were you talk to the MB dealer in Mexico and get it done there before importing it to the US.
