2015 ML350 trailer brake controller
I recently purchased a used 2015 ML350 that has a towing package. Does the standard towing package come with a trailer brake controller? My trailer dealer could not find a brake controller on the vehicle. If present, where is the controller located and how can it be manually adjusted for different trailer weights and loading?

No brake controller- you’ll have to install one.
But it’s pre-wired to do so.

Thanks for your help. In the link you provided, the Tekonsha P3 was mentioned. In another thread, the Tekonsha 90250 Prodigy RF was mentioned. Do you have any preferences or do you prefer another brand?

I had previously wired the P3 controller on both a 4Runner and then a Tundra. Always tough to route the wiring and then the problem of where to mount the unit.Never a perfect spot and then drilling into the car.
On my ML the RF unit works great and all I do is plug the small sender into the cigarette lighter and lay it in that storage area in front of the cup holders. When not in use I stuff it at the bottom of my center console. It really couldn't get easier and I have the luxury of switching tow vehicles without any prep.

Good Luck!
