I was trying to connect an aftermarket illuminated star to my 2018 GLE and I'm not really sure where in the fuse box it gets corrected…I know the old ML and new GLE are basically the same truck so I wanted to see if anyone here knew what to do. I just did the aftermarket illuminated star on my C Class and that was super easy. This seems to be completely different and not sure where to connect it. I've attached a picture of my fuse box from under the hood. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

just a question — what is the piece attached to the end of the wire that is plugged into the fuse box? My Star didn’t come with one of those and it looks like something I could probably pick up at an auto parts store

It’s just a connection you can buy at the store. It’s a male fuse box connector
