When I was looking for a vehicle back in December 2016, I couldn't find one with Dynamic handling package for sale; may be I didn't wait long enough. I wanted lighting package, HK audio system, and hitch as must-have. When I found a vehicle with those options, I grabbed it even though it didn't have dynamic handling package. Oh well. I am buying H&R springs (amazon has them for $278 for the set), I will install them in the next month and I will provide feedback if I see any changes.

In all the years I’ve been on auto forums you are the biggest jack *** I’ve ever come across. And I’ve seen many, but you take the crown without question. As wrong as you are in your above statement, I don’t care to go back and forth with you as I’ve seen others do on this forum. Your know-it-all comments spew of self righteousness and a superiority complex. I’ve seen a post of yours that mentioned adding value to a thread. You attempt to bring people down and are condescending in almost every post I see of yours.
PS: Take my advice and put him on your ignore list. You'll still see his dribble if someone quotes him, but by and large, your ignore list will bring back some of the pleasure you usually would derive from surfing this site.

What does having three old P cars or being unable to get an earlier production date for the GT R have to do with your immaturity and personal insecurity? Wow! But back on the original topic. Diabolis is absolutely correct and I even mentioned it earlier. (In a nicer way.)
Here's a visual to help explain what's going on.Go outside and push on the side of your car to rock it back and forth. What are the wheels and tires doing to counteract the sideways force (pushing) you're exerting on the car? Nothing, because roll control is down to the suspension - springs, struts/shocks and sway bars. The bigger wheels may look better and the shorter sidewalls will improve turn in response but they aren't doing anything for roll control. I really wonder why no aftermarket company does anything for our cars outside of springs and shocks. Better sway bars would be much more effective!

Obviously there’s a lot of confusion here. For anybody that has even a small amount of experience working on and/or racing autos, it’s obvious that the tire sidewall is not the cause for body roll. Nor will it be the solution for too much body roll.
The reason it’s mentioned in a thread referring to body roll is because the tires can have similar characteristics, though not as pronounced, due to to the flex in a larger side wall vs a small stiff side wall. Anyone that’s gone from a big side wall to a low profile tire can tell you there’s a noticeable difference. On my track car I could tell a noticeable difference between a 45 series side wall and a 35 series.
The boat-like floating feeling of the steel spring set up on the W166 was surprising to me. On a modern vehicle from a “high end” auto maker, I just don’t think it should drive that way. Lesson learned to get the upgraded suspension package. Anyway, before I touched the suspension, I looked into thicker sway bars. As already stated, nobody makes them for this vehicle. Even the ML63 has the same size sway bars, which I was surprised to see. The next thing I did was swap out the factory 19” wheels for 22” ML63 replicas. I would’ve preferred the 21” AMG’s, but tires are considerably cheaper for 22” wheels. Anyway, this gave a noticeable improvement to the negative driving characteristics that have been noted by a number of owners. I was content to drive it this way, but got bored and decided to also swap out my springs for the H&R’s. The issue is completely cured at this point, but the springs are considerably stiffer and with that comes a harsher ride. I may go back to the factory springs this summer. I’m getting too old for a rough ride on a daily driver.
Hope this clears things up. I didn’t think it needed to be explained, but clearly I did not explain my thoughts well. The point is the forum is to share thoughts and ideas. If there’s a misunderstanding or even wrong information, there are a number of appropriate ways to address it. I appreciate anyone who shares their information or thoughts and I hope that I can help someone else out from time to time.

The point is the forum is to share thoughts and ideas. If there’s a misunderstanding or even wrong information, there are a number of appropriate ways to address it. I appreciate anyone who shares their information or thoughts and I hope that I can help someone else out from time to time.
Then perhaps you ought to learn what qualifies as an "appropriate" way (hint: it is not what you were doing here) and listen to your own advice. And, the about-face while trying to weasel out of admitting that you were wrong isn't helping your case. If instead you had simply said "You know what? Looks like I was wrong... and I'm sorry, I had a bad day", I would have accepted that and even started respecting you a little for it, but you're still hopelessly trying to save face. Except for little peter here, no one really thinks that you actually know what you're talking about, which you clearly continue to further demonstrate with every other wrong observation and/or explanation you give. For your own sake man... if you're not man enough to admit that you screwed up, just stop and move on.
