2000 500SL
looking at 2012 ML550
I'm looking at a 2012 ML550 that has 57K on it, and it seems to have every possible feature on it, and was a one owner. What are the reliability issues with these? It was purchased and traded in at the same Dealership and is offered as a CPO and in for scheduled services ahead of the requirement. I've had many Merc's in the past:
92 e500 bought at 85k sold at 160K
93 e400 bought at 110K sold at 280K
95 e320
1998 e430
2000 SL500 Currently own but up for sale
They have all been very reliable except the 2003 e500 that was plagued with many problems and finally caught on fire ending my misery of that ownership.
How would the W66 ML 550 stand up to those in comparison? The fit and finish looks like new, and looks like it has never spent a night outside or off of a paved surface.

you have to remember taking a CPO or one owner car you have to be ready to take the risks associated with it. If you want i would suggest you get a pre-purchase inspection and a carfax report to make sure your investment will be worth the $ you pay for it. Good luck
