ML250 W166 Yellow Engine Diagnostic Light
I have recently purchased a used ML250 with 90,000km & the yellow engine light came on yesterday, before I go back to the dealer can anyone give me some indication why this light has come on & is it a common problem, I have googled & searched the forums and can not see any posts relating to the ML250 Engine light. I have 2 months warranty left & want to sort it out asap. Any assistance would be appreciated.

The dpf has been changed as the last one had collapsed, ($13,000 under warranty). If the car is not driven on the highways regularly it will clog up the new DPF & the engine light goes on. It then needs to go back to MB for a forced regen.
