That would lift up/blow off my wife's ML more often than not when I took it through a local touchless car wash...high powered dryers.

Then mine'll definitely blow off. The plastic tabs that allow it to snap into place are already cracked. I purchased the truck used and found the plastic cover in the trunk.
After learning where it went, it made sense that the older lady who owned the truck before me was a bit overzealous with the ice scraper in the winter and popped the plastic off, never bothering to fix it. She also did a number on the bottom window weather-stripping on a few windows.

I'll take the cover off and see if I can't fit a small black tie-wrap to it so's to keep it in place in the future.
