Pairing S9 Android phone to 2014 ML350
Hi - I have tried several times to pair my new S9 phone via bluetooth to my 2014 ML - but it does not detect it. Bluetooth is switched on. Any suggestions please?

Let me try to help ...
1 - if you don't have anything crucial in your COMAND - I suggest a fresh clean reboot - go to System - look under options - "Reset" and wait for that process to finush. Once finoshed turn off COMAND then turn back on.
2 - your year ML used a "5-digit" user "hand shake code" - like 12345 - when pairing the device - so when you get to that stage remember the system is asking you to input a 5-digit handshake match code - and input that same code on the other device/side to complete the handshake
3- I have attached a pdf fLet ile from yoru Owner's Manual - in the event you COMAND still does not pickup your SP (with your S9 "discoverable" Bluetooth mode) then go to section External Authorization
Don't worry - you'll get there - just back then both Android and Bluetooth were going thru simultaneous growing pains.
