Collision Prevention Assist

I've read a lot of contradicting posts. Can someone tell me definitively if CPA on a 2013 w/o Disctronic will autonomously apply the brakes with no driver intervention? I think the answer is no, right?

And what about Active Brake Assist on a 2014, will that brake autonomously?

It’s called assist not automatic, you will need to push on the brake and the assist will apply more pressure if needed
