295/35/21 on ML550

2015 ML550
295/35/21 on ML550
Howdy all,
I have a 2015 ML550 which has been fantastic over the years, but OEM Continentals are wearing down and are getting quite loud (have about 80000kms on it, with half of that on the OEM Continentals and other half with my winter Hakkapellitas). Currently, the OEM's are 265/40/21 and the "rims stick out further than the rubber".....I'm always nervous about getting curb rash. Anyways, I know that the ML63 of that era had 295/35/21 on them.....will those fit on my ML550? I'm assuming that the struts and geometry are the same between the ML550 and ML63, but not entirely sure. Anyone go even wider? TIA!
