2014 ML350 Float and Bounce Driving Me Crazy!
14 ML350 4matic gas with stock spring setup 80,000 miles. The bouncy float over bumps is driving me crazy! Perhaps its always been this way the 2 years I've owned it and I never noticed it or it has just gotten worse. Newer Michelin tires within the past 6 months. Air pressure kept around 35 psi. Anything I can do to eliminate the bounce without adding harshness to the ride? Shocks worn out? Don't want to end up replacing them with OEM new, waste money and still have same issue. Dealer checked out truck and said all suspension components look good. Anybody else noticed and getting tired of the bouncy ride?

At 80k its probably worn. Up to you if you want to make the expense.
You can try stiffer sidewall or higher psi....
P.sm you don't need to go mb original. Bilstein is usually the oe supplier. Rockauto or fcp euro is your friend.
Try the corner hop test.
On each corner of the car when parked try shaking the vehicle up and down. If the car rebounds a lot, ie like a low rider with hydraulic suspension, you need new shocks

Check this site for H & R springs. Several have put them on their ML350 to firm up the ride. It also lowers the car about 1 inch. I want to do this to mine but have never gotten around to it.
