Puddle Lamp Question Re: Door Control Module
Hi guys,
I'm in the process of wanting to install puddle lamps, or puddle lamp projectors on my truck. I do not have ambient lighting, so my front door puddle lamps are just blank red inserts, and no wiring loom to the bottom of the door.
Does anyone know if a programming change is needed in SDS/Xentry if I wire up a puddle light to the door control module. (Believe it is port #6 on the module based on other research).
In my dream scenario, the answer is no, and i can run puddle lamp projectors, and also splice into that loom to install illuminated door sills as well, but all of this is moot if I have to program it. I suppose there's other things to tap into for power, but would have to do more digging for something that is triggered by door open/close for the puddle lamps.
