Angry 2014 4Matic Climate Control Issues

Ok everyone, this is my first time posting on these forums and I'm looking for a little guidance. My wife has a 2014 ML350 4Matic and we've recently run in to some trouble with the climate control system. Last week I was getting my son loaded up in his car seat and after I started the engine the climate system did not respond. I checked the buttons to make sure I had the A/C engaged and nothing. I then attempted to alter the temperature and still nothing. Finally I tried to turn on the defroster and heating systems (I'm in Houston, TX and it was 104 degrees out at the time...) and still nothing. There was literally no response, nothing from the vents at all. Thankfully we purchased the extended MB warranty when we purchased the vehicle and it is still valid. However upon dropping the vehicle off at service they said it was merely a loose connection under the passenger chair. We returned home with a functioning A/C system and let the car sit overnight. The next day we drove about 40 miles in to town for a party and upon re-entering the car after the party, the system once again was not working. I located the connections under the passenger (and driver's) chair and with my eyes everything seemed fine. All connections were solid and there were no loose wires anywhere. We dropped the SUV back at the same dealer with a non-functioning system. Once again, the dealer calls back and says that the A/C and Heat were working fine for them. They kept it overnight and said they would try to recreate the problem in the morning. My wife got the call moments ago and they said the system is still working just fine for them.

What on earth could be the issue here? It's extremely intermittent. But with a pregnant wife driving the vehicle, and my 3 year old son as well, I cannot have the A/C go out on her when she's driving it around. What should I be looking for? I've owned VWs my entire life and this is my wife's 2nd MB (first was totaled when she got rear ended two years ago), so I'm somewhat familiar with German engineering. Does this seem like a fuse problem? I find it extremely frustrating that I have this problem, but the dealer has not been able to recreate it. I mean, not even the blower fan was responding...

Any thoughts would be most appreciated. Thank you!

Go back to dealer. Truck is under warranty. Make them fix it, test drive it, or let it sit overnight to try and duplicate and give you a loaner.

Warranty > internet forum without the ability to hook up SDS/Xentry to your truck.
