Advice on 2012 ML 350
Hello, I am new to this forum and I would appreciate any feedback on the purchase of a 2012 ML 350 with 66K at a Mercedes dealership. The dealership is a 2 hour ride and I have not taken the ride yet. The vehicle is loaded with premium 2 package, distronic plus, driver assistance pkg. , heater wheel , rear entertainment. I have not seen any service records yet. Can anyone please give some feedback on this model ie, potential problems, highway road and wind noise, tire wear etc.

The 2012 is on the W166 platform, which by now has become robust. The 2012 was the first year of the W166, so while there may have been new model problems, either solutions are available or (hopefully) they have been corrected by previous owners.
Is the vehicle you are looking at diesel or gasoline? I would avoid diesel (BlueTEC). Do a large amount of research on your own regarding this. A small group of owners will share positive experience with BlueTEC diesels. Many people have had other than successful experiences. DEF-based diesel implementations in the North American market for passenger vehicles have been widely unsuccessful in the 2010-2018 time frame.
The options you listed are good ones. Ask for service records. Road and wind noise are not systemic problems, it will come down to this particular vehicle's maintenance, tire condition, etc.

I was not aware that the ML 350 has airmatic suspension. Do they all have it? I had an 07 SL 550 with a hydraulic suspension and it was a nightmare!
