Lift and bigger tires. Is this possible?

I have a 2015 ML350 with the AMG sport line package. I'd like to give it a slight lift plus some chunkier tires. Currently, the car rides on 255 55 R19 tires. After doing a bit of research, 285 55 R19 would give me about an extra inch of diameter and width. A visual inspection suggests at least an inch is possible, and I'd be installing spring spacers and wheel spacers (I'm think 1.5" and 1" respectively) to help facilitate the tires.

Also, are there any mounting points for some aux lamps on the front bumper?

Thanks!

You're going into uncharted territory. But I applaud you for wanting to do this, I think these trucks would look cool lifted slightly

I seem to remember someone else wanting to do the same thing a awhile back. You'll have to do some searching here but should be able to find it. I'll take a look myself...

Why not go to a 50 series tire. My experience has been to upsize the tire ie go from 265/55 to 275 /50 in your case go to a 285/55-19. You need to check what rim width is recommended for the new size tire . You may find you your rim is not wide enough. I think if you do what you proposed, you will be increasing the sidewall which will have a dramatic effect handling. Use this site to review options. https://tiresize.com/calculator/

One other option is H and R springs which will lower the car about an inch. Check on this site for people who have done this. It seems to work pretty well. Improves looks and improves the handling. You don't have to put them all the way around, you can just do the rears

Good Luck and let us know what you decided.
