I have a 2015 ML250, love the car but would really love it more if it had the airmatic suspension. My CL550 has it and those who have one know they are phenomenal. Any one know if it can be retrofitted in place of the standard springs?

Not to be mean, but your looking at paying thousands of dollars just to add it to the center console, the springs, and comand to even recognize it.
Just my opinion here, but you dont really need it as well, airmatic fails after years of usage. My mom purchased an 03 S430 with the airmatic package and 2 years ago the car completely lowered itself and its 5k just to fix it. I dont know how long you plan on keeping the ML, but if you really want it go with a 14 550 (fellow user told me that the 14 was the last year), comes standard
Don't do it! MB air and fluid suspensions are nothing but trouble! There are companies offering 'coil overs' to replace these suspensions. I have a CL600 V12 twin turbo that has had $25,000 (about $20k USD) spent on the suspension alone when a pump failed and sent crap through the whole system. Thankfully by the previous owner under warranty.
