Headlight/Windscreen Washer pump

Is there more than one pump . Both my headlight washers and my screen wash have stopped working . Headlight washers could have been off for a while , not sure , but screen washers not working now . I can hear the pump for the screen wash but there is very little water, only bubbles, the rear wash works and there is some water but not to well . I have ordered a screen wash pump , which has two outlets , but cant find a pump for the head lights . might as well change both . Its an ML350 bluetec 2013 one of the first face lifts . . Thanks for any help .

oh and there is nothing leaking out .

Two pumps. Call your dealer for affirmative part numbers. From EPC and WIS:

Headlamp washer pump A1648690221

EPC and mercedesbenzstarparts have a some conflicting information about the windshield washer pump:

Pump, "pane washer system" A1648690421
Centifugal pump, "pane washer; heated" A0998660000

There is a washer fluid filter somewhere at the bottom of the fluid container area. I know the inner fender liner has to come out to get to it. In my case only the left washer nozzle output decreased to a trickle... do a little research on this first.

Yeah like Barry said, could be filter just needs cleaning since you can hear the pump running. I was in your situation and all I did was clean the filter.

You were right the rubber that the pump goes into has a small filter built into it and it was blocked . There was nothing wrong with the headlight washers just didnt realise the lights had to be switched on for them to work . Only had the car 5 years should have known that . Oh well I have two spare pumps .
