High viscosity, last 30K miles.
looking for advice, what could cause viscosity to go up?
History:
Started at 72K miles, viscosity started to go up, so far it went up and stays there:
SUS Viscosity @ 210°F = 65.9 (AVG 54-65)
cSt Viscosity @ 100°C = 11.85 (AVG 8.5-11.9)
Prior to 72K (values were from 61.7 to 64.2 for SUS Viscosity @ 210°F, and 10.71 - 11.85 for cSt Viscosity @ 100°C)
92K Miles
SUS Viscosity @ 210°F = 66.5
cSt Viscosity @ 100°C = 12.01
100K Miles
SUS Viscosity @ 210°F = 66.4
cSt Viscosity @ 100°C = 12.00
BlackStone commented "The viscosity actually read just a little thick for a 5W/30, but maybe that's due to soot. It's just barely out of line, and the rest of the results look great"
I'm still using the same MB 5W/30 oil from the same supplier, changing intervals 3-3.5K Miles, and getting fuel from the same gas station 95% times.
Any idea why it went up and what to expect from high viscosity?
If it's due to soot, I'm afraid it's not so good.
Thank you in advance.

On weekends it can be a few hundreds miles highway trips.
Im in this schedule past 5 years, and viscosity numbers went up about 1.5 years ago.
