2013 ML350 Clicking sound from front passanger wheel

Hello,

I have replaced two rear rotors and all 4 brake pads at mechanical shop about a month ago. Last week I have noticed a clicking sound when applying brakes. It is clear when the car speed is extremely low (like less than 5 mph). So, I have brought the car back to mechanical shop. First they were not able to recognize the issue (they claimed 2 managers and one mechanic drove the car and found no issues). So I have tested it myself (and a friend) and found it can been clearly heard outside the car on low speed. So, I brought the car back to mechanical shop and replicated an issue. They dissassebled-assebled the brake pads and applied some lubrication and claimed it fixed. I have test it right away and found the issue is still there. Mechanical shop claimed there is nothing they can do and it is normal and safe.
Can I check something myself? Here are some pictures:

When you say clicking, do you actually mean a slight clunking sound? Just as you apply the brakes? It's a pretty common occurrence with a lot of vehicles. It is primarily due to how loose the pads are within the caliper and therefore some movement occurs as the pads are hitting against the caliper. How much slop should there be? Well that depends on the quality and brand of pads used, in other words how much tolerance between the pads installed vs what was spec'd by MB. The grease is there to keep the pads moving, stuck pads are bad and cause uneven wear, squealing sounds, etc...

So my question to you, do you know what brand/quality pads were installed?

Etienne Lau, yes, clunking sound but a little sonorous sound. I don't know. Like a sound from a spring. It happens when I just apply brakes. Also it is not that notable, but I think the sound also exists when I apply acceleration as well.

I have checked a receipt. It show Ceramic pads front DG1455 ($73), pad sensor wire front WK607 ($17). Have no idea if it considered cheap or good.

PS. I google it and looks like it is Duralast Gold Ceramic Brake Pads DG1455

I used Akebono pads when I did rear pads. These are what I would use: Akebono front pads. I have nothing against using AutoZone parts, I have used them in the past on my Subaru, but when it comes to the Mercedes I shy away from AutoZone.

Etienne Lau, GLK Super Fan,
Thank you for your advises. Probably I need to research and buy parts by myself.
