2015 ML350 Steering Wheel Ajustment (up/down)
Does anyone have experience with fixing the up/down adjustment with a 2015 ML305 (166)? There are many threads regarding the "dogbone" or "cable" but I'd like to have specific info on my ML before I go tearing things apart. When the up/down stop working I followed one thread and slammed hard on the steering wheel while holding the adjustment stick down and that worked... for awhile. I still can hear the motor and the in/out adjustment still works.
Any advise appreciated.

The steering wheel of my r231 stopped moving up and down but I could hear the motor trying to move the cable so I removed the covers under the steering wheel and found the nut on the end of the cable was to tight and binding it. So I loosen the nut and retightened it all the while moving the steering wheel up and down until I was satisfied the nut was sufficiently tight. That was in 2015 and haven't had a problem yet. I'm sure you have the same issue if the motor is working.
