SRPC1921 Recall
Hi there
Hope you are well.
Love my W166 to bits and have a ML350 2015 AMG Premium Plus. Working fine for 1.5 years and only did 4k miles on it. All maintained within Mercedes.
On the 7th Mar 2020 took it in for the SRPC1921 recall and from day one experiencing:
Jerking at steady speed. between 40-80 degrees operating temp
Loss of 10 mpg
Sluggish.
Vehicle now been in since 25th Jun and to date Mercedes have checked:
3 x MPG test on full tanks on runs of 60 miles. Managed to get 28-31MPG on motor runs. Was getting way more before.
Injector leak tests and all ok
Gearbox solenoids changed
Now they want to do Torque Converter change!!!
All the above symptoms only from recall. Assume its in relation to emissions issues so covering it up.
Anyone else have similar symptoms? On other forums many have identical issues. Stumble/jerking on newer GLE vehicles. I have also got others to write in on my case and nothing.
Stress and anxiety this is causing is unreal. Gone through Head office and technical in Milton Keynes and Germany apparently.
Your help and ideas will be much appreciated

Sorry to hear that about your Mers.
The keyword in your story and the main reason of your problems is "serviced at Mercedes".
I'm not gonna mention the cases when after oil change I found the engine oil level over the max limit, or to mention the fact that they are changing the engine oil at every 15000! and the air filter at every 60K!
