CES light disappeared ML350 (Update)
So the CES light came on a week ago. I scanned the code and was finally able to erase the code( make sure you turn the key to turn the power only not the engine). It's been 2 days since I erase the code and the CES light hasn't come up yet. The code was : Evaporative Emission Leak detected(very small leak). If the CES light comes back on I guess I should have it checked right?

I suspect that you simply overfilled the tank (most likely) or didn't fully close the gas cap (less likely). I wouldn't worry about it unless it happens again.
If it comes back on its own (not after you've just filled up), you may have an air leak in the gas cap or possibly a clogged up tank vent or valve.
