Diesel After Recall Perfomance

Diesel After Recall Performance
Greetings Everyone,
Just signed up. I have had my 2014 ML350 Bluetec for about 5 years. I got the check engine light with 2 codes -P229F and P2201. Then the "add blue" countdown started. The dealer said they had all the parts to complete the recall campaign so, reluctantly, I let them proceed. Since getting it back I repeated a drive home scenario where I photographed the trip mileage readout at the same point with very similar driving and settings. Prior to service it was 27.6 to 29.2, usually 28 or better. After 25.8 to 27. Has anyone experienced a reduction in mileage or performance after having the service done? 66k miles.

MPGs Still Suffering
A month after the AEM, Still down at least 2-3 MPG. Didn't take notice of change in noise but will pay attention. I also filed all the required docs and noticed October 2022 before any disbursements. The conversation at closing the deal on my 2014 ML350 Bluetec, a CPO at the dealer in September 2016.... Me "Now I want your assurance Mercedes is NOT IN ANY WAY involved in diesel emissions cheating like Volkswagen?" Salesman and Sales Manager, "ABSOLUTELY NOT! in fact Volkswagen is borrowing our technology to solve their issue." What we don't know about this is likely far from what we think.
