2014 Ml350 (w166) 4matic, dead key fob.
Hello Everyone,
Car info. 2014 ml350 4matic.
The problem I have now is my key is dead.I only have one key for this car. All buttons are not responsive. I already changed the battery as I did before, but still not working.
It happened when I succeffully locked up the car, when I came back after shopping, I was not able to unlock the car. I have to take out the mechanical key to unlock the driver side door. Then the alarm beeps of course. While I can still use this key to turn engine on.
The only problem is I can't used key fob to lock or unlock doors. I am sure it is not a key battery problem. ( The light can flash when push the buttons). The car battery is also good. Voltage is good. Really sommoth to start engine. I already checked all fused of this car (including boxes under hood, passigner side under dashboard and passigener side under rear seat). I am not really sure which one is the one for antenna，but seems like all fuses are good.
I really dooubt maybe the All Activity Module is bad, but I am not sure. And I wiil assume it is going to be a expensive fix. Dammmmm....

try not using the wireless function. Just pop the push to start button out and use the key fob like a regular key for a while and see if that helps/resets it. I ocassionally have to use my key fob that way . Just a suggestion.
